Dental Work

Most people hate going to the dentist! I may sound really wrong but I enjoy my dentist and his peeps! I had a chipped molar and it was gonna be some work! My doc gave me two options! Either a crown which can be very expensive or the standard plastic filling. I went plastic, since I would not wanna bust out the plastic to pay for the crown. My dentist asured me that both options are good for the time being. The crown is for the long haul.

It was time for the novicane! I was given two shots for maximum numbness! The work that my dentist had to do was gonna require a dry mouth which took about five minutes, but felt like a day! My dentist's assistant asked me to go to another place. I immediately transported myself to the northshore. The noises in my mouth sounded like the waves and the wind. The dental assistant said that I had my own weather system in my mouth!

Another reason that I enjoy my dentist is that we both have wacky sense of humor! We enjoy making the others in the room laugh during my time there.
The reason why I even needed the work done is due to my bad habit of clenching my teeth when I get upset or angry:( When I was eating like weekend iswhen I noticed that part of my tooth missing.

Later that day I was hanging with my parents and my Dad (Pops) stated that he does not take novicane for the dental work! He stated that it makes him sore, so he just takes the drilling straight on! Thats hardcore!!! My Dad is a hardy Norweigan!
My mom thinks I am some kind of design genius, so I will be busy on Friday helping her with my parents interior design. I am glad I am good for something:)
Next time; Swatches!
Peace!

Leon is Responsible!

Leon Dehneke is one of my favorite Rockers, and one of my top brothers in Christ!
He looks like a quiet guy, but he is very conversative and you should hear him snore!!! It rattles the windows! That is how he got his tag line of "Leon is Resposible" in Lima Peru! Miguel was trying to sleep but he was 1. Very emotional about going to Machu Pichu, and 2. Leon is Responsible! (Meaning that his snoring kept Miguel awake!)
Leon really is responsible, and a Great leader! He leads Celebrate Recovery with a few others and in my opinion, he is doing a great job! I visited a couple times and really like what CR is cooking up!
Leon also has a great sense of humor, and is very creative! See picture above! He looks quite fetching in his flower hat!
Next time; Dental Work
Peace!

Dumpster Daze!

During the weekend of August 3rd thru the 5th, Lizzy, Nate, Craig and I rented a dumpster to clean out stuff from former roomies we had over the last seven years!

Pictured above is Lizzy (not his real name) and Craig! More on those two of my many crazy friends in a later blog posting.

It was fun and liberating to get rid of so much crap! And we recounted so many stories of days past! Most of the roomies, usually would leave and left behind most of their junk in my garage! After many attempts to contact them, we gave up since they were not contacting us back. In the dumpster it went!

Lizzy got rid of his bed and boxspring, and Craig got rid of a globe lamp he had accidently dropped 5 minutes before were were ready to load up the dumpster.

Also, I went through a personal inventory of all the stuff I buy and collect and had many convictions this weekend. Good and tough all through out the weekend. I was glad to through out alot of junk!
We all filled that 20 yard dumpster to the brim! That's 15 feet long by 7 and a half wide by 5 feet high! Sheesh! Thats a load of junk!!!
The house never looked cleaner! And Nate was a miracle worker in making the art studio actually look like an art studio once again! More blogging on that later!
I did take breaks and enjoyed some social time with friends! One of the social party's was a pool party are Kim, who was in the same small group as me last season! One of my friends that was at Kim's pool party was Leon!
Next Time; Leon is Responsible!

Peace!
