Alter Egos Part 1 of 3

Get a look at this picture! This is a pic from an online game!!!

More and more these days, people don't wanna live out their real lives! They think it is boring and turn to online games and/or game systems rather than getting out there and living life! There is actually a game called "Second Life" which promotes this kind of behavior!

Granted, I am slightly guilty since I enjoy a game called "City of Heroes"! But I don't waste countless hours playing online! Get outside while you still can people! Global Warming hasn't taken it's toll yet! With "Second Life" I can see this kind of thing taking place, if our outside world becomes inhabitable?

With this in mind; lets say that this becomes the only way we can live? What would you wanna look like? Would it be a carbon copy of you, or something completely different?

We will explore this in part two!

Until then! Peace out!

Rain

I remember a song when I was a kid that is titled "Count your blessings...name them one by one" and I think so often of how we complain so much in this world, about just meaningless things. My Pastor Mark Darling commented on how divorce happens from disagreements over the stupidist things! He also commented on how parents split if their kids were handicapped. This here is a big blessing for me, since I have been sick on and off, all of my life and my parents still stuck it out, in fact they are amazing! (A blog for another day)

So often, blessing are showered upon us and we grab the umbrella so we don't get soaked, when I beleive that is exactly wants GOD wants for us. He wants us to be drentched in his blessings, but we end up running for some type of worldly shelter, by reflex! Ever see photos of people just standing out in the rain with them looking up and their arms wide open. This is what our Lord wants from us!

Everyday I remind myself of how many blessings we have throughout the day! They come like rain! Count your blessings! Name them one by one!

Peace out!

Goodbye/Hello!

Tonight was a good night, but tough night! Axis (our mid week church service) is no longer, but "hello" ROCK house churches! I am excited that lots of my dear friends will be in the same house church and hopefully some new faces? I am glad to see the change, but the memories are still strong on how Axis was over the years! As one of my dear friends Lizzy Alexandr described Axis as a "Pep Rally for Jesus", when we meet at the U of M campus! I hope that the ROCK house churches will have the incredible energy that Axis used to have:) Meeting on campus was awesome! Meeting in the Edgewater church was ok, but the U of M campus was far better!

So it is goodbye Axis! I have many fond memories of you!

Peace out!

Age alignment

Hey Gang,

Sorry for not posting in a while. I just celebrated my 41st B-Day, and it is kind of weird, since I don't look 41 or even identify much with 4o somethings. I have never been married or had kids. I have a nephew and neice. 7 and 4 years. I don't like using the phrase "Years old" cause I am a "Young at heart" type of guy! I like to say "How long I have been around" or "I have been renewed for another season" (like tv shows) Most of my friends and people I meet say that I look like I am in my mid to later 20's:)

One thing I have done to help me keep my mind off of "How old", is to use symbolizms! I went to Wikipedia.org and found a very cool symbolizm for me this year! I found the 41st Airlift Squadron! Their symbol is a Cat carrying a baby cat! I figure that this is fitting for me, since I love serving and assisting others, and in a way I "Airlift friends out of trouble!" I am seen amongst friends as a "Wise Guy" LOL, but mostly in serving, protecting, and helping others:)

God Bless,
Keith

Plans

It's funny no matter how often we make plans, and they get folied, we always think they are foolproof! Everytime I make a plan, I think "If I stay hopeful and positive and have FAITH in it, it will come together as planned"! ...Fails everytime!:(

On a positive note, it all comes together for GODs good, no matter how upset we become from failed plans. GOD works it for his glory and, if we ask...GOD shows us how he used it:)

Now, I am not saying to never plan things out, but just make sure you stay flexible for GOD!

Peace out!
