Mann's Master Plan! (Detective Mann Series)

Freed from the pine box and still brushing off wood chips, I decide on the best plan of attack. I hid the power item in another dimension. The dwarf-like beings of that dimension are named the Eitri and are relatively peaceful. Only I can transverse these dimensions, so any item I stash is safe within. I.simply need to slip over to that dimension, and scoop up the "Pen of God" and then arrive at the gangsters meeting place with the pen and a flamethrower, since I figure fire is the best way to fight living film goons, This will be simple.

I receive a call from the office phone. One of the gangsters named Manny McCabe barks; Where is the "Pen of God" Mann? If yas don't show soon, the chickadee gets it! Mann replies; You get what you deser...I mean what you want soon enough. Manny barks; Midnight tonight or your dame gets a new hat size! The phone disconnects. I best hustle. I hope I don't get a welcoming ceremony I have to endure in the world the Eitri. That could slow things down. The Eitri are hospitable creatures and enjoy when visitors stay for extended periods of time.

I jump into my recently restored 1920 Silver Ghost Rolls Royce, and drive down to the warehouse where I keep all the dimensional doors safely locked away. Ever though only I can transverse these dimensions, it is best to keep the doors looked away from prying eyes. I notice that I am being tailed, by a black sedan. Must be one of Manny's boys. My vehicle is not one for chases, so I need to come up with an evasive plan. Ducking down a well known alleyway I take a hard right and bring the car down a secret passageway to a hidden garage. I leave the car for now, and try to id on who is tailing me on foot. Sure enough, it is one of Manny's men. I can spot Black and White living film easily from a distance. I turn back to my car and I feel a gun to my lower right back. The living film gangster says; Name's Lenny, move very slow, ya hear. I have been sent to assist ya in finding "Pen a God" thingy. Mann thinks; All I need is bothersome partner. Thankfully once we move through the door, the stooge will cease to exist. We enter the warehouse and Lenny the stooge is amazed by all the doors throughout the warehouse. We are just steps away, and I think about putting the jump on Lenny, however that would be a bad ideal, if Lenny gets trigger happy. Hitting any of these doors would be like opening Pandoras Box. Finally at the door, I am anxious to see Lenny go up like a puff of smoke. Then I experience the unexpected. The door is locked. Lenny barks: Wha da hold up Mann? Are you stalling? Mann replies; The door is stuck. Then we experience a strange voice stating; Password please! Mann; Since when was there a password? The strange voice states; When we received power! Mann replies; I think I left the pen in a bad place?
